Event memory by time and day
Settings, changes and status messages of the control unit and safety devices are stored with their respective time and day information.
GIGAcontrol A automatically recognizes the inverter and the two-way control module. The various menus in the control unit are displayed only if the relevant products are actually connected. In this way, unnecessary overloading of the menu is avoided and the customer is able to easily set the various options.
Partial opening
The partial opening function of GIGAcontrol A is designed in such a way that it can be controlled directly with the visible buttons. It does not require switching or changing the programming of the control unit. With partial opening engaged, when the button is pressed, the door first reaches the position set by the customer, then opens fully when
the button is pressed again. To fully open the door, it is necessary to press the OPEN button twice. Since full opening of the door is often required in hoist mode, pressing the remote control button (channel 1) opens the door fully; partial opening is available on channel 2.

The control unit is equipped as standard with an auxiliary relay to ensure the safe interruption of the motor power supply in any situation.
Settings
By means of external editor, 10 different profiles can be stored to preset operating parameters and for an inverter. In this way, the customer can set different functions, operating mode, behavior of safety devices, etc., and choose during installation only the final positions and the desired profile. In addition, the company name and telephone number can also be stored, which the customer will see on the display when maintenance work needs to be performed.

All connections are analyzed separately. Analysis can be associated with any direction of travel. Upon activation of the safety device, it is possible to freely associate the responses "Partial / total" and "Stop."
Direct programming of the control unit

By entering a second password, faster commissioning is possible via a reduced menu: menu items not relevant for initial commissioning are hidden.
Direction of rotation recognition and adaptation
Already at the time of installation, it is possible to easily adapt the direction of the motor using menu commands. In GIGAcontrol A, the direction of rotation of the motor can be easily changed by means of the control elements, e.g. in case of a new wiring performed later.
If there are variations in the door travel, e.g. caused by changes in temperature or spring tension in sectional doors, stiffness due to mechanical damage, the automatic end position correction will adapt the stop position in order to comply with the set end position.
